The recent revelations about the existence of secret servers in the Warface game has been naturally met by a barrage of questions. How was it possible for the developers to strip out a key ingredient from the game? How was the game sold without anyone knowing about it? Was it just a mistake or did they deliberately withhold this feature to keep the game from being labeled as pay-to-win?

The first few hours of Warface revealed a lot about the game, like how the Perdition Network is based on location, how the team communicates, its leaders and much more. The squad crafting system is also revealed, which spawns a random player into a squad and makes that player automatically join the squad. The only way to get out of the squad is to leave the squad.

Warface is a free-to-play first-person shooter that is unique to the Steam platform. It is not just another generic shooter with a giant map of a generic place. No, you get to choose your ‘Role’, you can be a Commando, Medic, Engineer, Sniper, Spy, Light or Heavy Assault, you get to customize your character how you want with tons of weapons, skins, accessories and they all have completely different properties and skills. It’s a dynamic game that is like no other.

At long last, shooty men!

The Hidden War season of Warface began this week: “The season update includes a new PvP-map called Ruins for capture mode, where players may utilize traps to alter the map topology and gain a tactical edge. Two new weapon series and a set of armor have been added to the player’s arsenal. Baseball bats will soon be included to melee combat in future updates.”
