PlayStation gamers will be able to subscribe to a new subscription service that provides three levels of incentives and advantages beginning in June. Below are descriptions of the various packages offered.
PlayStation Plus is a must-have.
- US Price: $9.99 per month / $24.99 per quarter / $59.99 per year
- EU Price: €8.99 per month, €24.99 per quarter, €59.99 per year
- UK £6.99 each month / £19.99 per quarter / £49.99 per year
- Two downloaded games are available each month.
- Discounts not available anywhere else
- Saved games are stored on the cloud.
- Multiplayer access through the internet
- Existing PlayStation Plus subscribers will not see any changes in this tier.
Extra PlayStation Plus
- US Price: $14.99 per month, $39.99 per quarter, and $99.99 per year
- EU Price: €13.99 per month, €39.99 per quarter, €99.99 per year
- UK £10.99 each month, £31.99 every quarter, and £83.99 per year
- All of the advantages from the Essential tier are included.
- Adds a library of up to 400* of the best PS4 and PS5 titles, including blockbuster successes from PlayStation Studios and third-party partners. The Extra tier includes games that may be downloaded and played.
PlayStation Plus Premium is a subscription service for PlayStation users.
- US Price: $17.99 per month / $49.99 per quarter / $119.99 per year
- EU Price: €16.99 per month, €49.99 per quarter, €119.99 per year
- UK £13.49 per month / £39.99 each quarter / £99.99 per year
- All of the perks from the Essential and Extra categories are included.
- Up to 340* extra titles are available, including PS3 games that may be streamed over the internet.
- From the original PlayStation, PS2, and PSP generations, a portfolio of beloved vintage titles is accessible in both streaming and download formats.
- In markets** where PlayStation Now is presently available, offers cloud streaming access for original PlayStation, PS2, PSP, and PS4 titles in the Extra and Premium levels. Customers may stream games on their PS4 and PS5 consoles, as well as their PCs.
