At long last, Star Citizen 3.14 is here, and it is one of the most exciting patches to date. The arrival of 3.14 marks the end of the series of backers-only updates, and the start of a new era for the game. The 3.14 patch is the first major update since the big 3.0 patch of 2016, and the first Star Citizen 3.14 patch to arrive in the middle of a large-scale war. The 3.14 patch is for backers, but only those that have pledged for the “3.14” series of updates—and even then, the patch won’t be available for the general public until the 3.14 series is completed.
