Albion Online mobile launches June 9 – here’s how to get some free loot

Albion Online, the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will be coming to mobile devices on June 9th. The first mobile version of the game will be available for iOS and Android devices. Players can get a free copy of the game, plus as much as $60 of in-game currency, by registering as a new player. To be eligible for the free copy of Albion, players must be at least 13 years of age and must not have played the game for more than 30 days.

When Albion Online mobile launches next week, it’ll be the most authentic mobile experience ever seen in an MMO.

With this latest move, the studio is fulfilling its longstanding promise to deliver a fully cross-platform MMORPG for all fans of the genre. Instead of a simplified PC version of the client, the mobile version of Albion offers a full game experience on the same global server as the desktop version. The character’s actions and progress are saved regardless of the platform being used, and the player can switch platforms at any time. To celebrate the launch, Sandbox Interactive is giving players a skin of a chimera riding horse and a tome of distinction worth 100,000 glory points by simply logging into the game via the desktop and mobile versions. Live players should check out the latest Call to Arms update released on Memorial Day; it revamped the tutorial and fixed logins, while making other quality-of-life changes just in time for the influx of new mobile players.
